This Boston Simplus contact lens solution is a very powerful cleanser. As well as potent disinfectants to deal with bacterial build-up and contamination, it also includes a built-in protein remover in its recipe. Denatured protein buildup begins as soon as you fit the lens into your eye. These proteins become opaque and soon discolour the contact lens and make it harder to see through. With a gentle bubbling action, this contact lens solution gets rid of those proteins, making sure your contacts stay clear for their entire lifetime. The Boston contact lens solution is a multipurpose contact solution, which means that it doesn’t just clean your contacts, it helps condition them as well. After being soaked overnight, it’ll coat the surface of the lens with a layer of incredibly soft polymers. These polymers create a cushion between the contact lens and your eye and increase the contact’s ‘wetability’ over the course of a day. This specially formulated multipurpose contact lens solution is ideal for gas permeable (or hard) contact lenses. Despite being so comprehensive a cleaner, this multipurpose contact lens solution is very easy to use. Because it’s made from only one bottle, the application process is quick and simple. Plus there’s no tedious pre-application scrubbing you need to do in the evening. Set your lens in the included contact lens overnight, give them a quick rub in the morning and they’re good to go! Please note: Bausch & Lomb Boston Simplus Contact Lens Solution is not suitable for use on soft (hydrophilic) contact lenses. Ingredients: Poloxamine, hydroxyalkylphosphonate, boric acid, sodium borate, sodium chloride, hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose, Glucam and preserved with chlorhexidine gluconate (0.003%), polyaminopropyl biguanide (0.0005%). How to use Bausch & Lomb Boston Simplus Contact Lens Solution: Wash your hands with mild soap. (Caution – pump soaps may contain oil-based suspension agents.) Place lenses in empty lens case and fill with fresh Boston SIMPLUS Multi-Action Solution. Soak lenses for at least four (4) hours (or overnight) before wearing. Always use fresh solution for soaking and storing lenses. Wash hands with mild soap before cleaning (rubbing) lenses. After soaking, remove lenses from lens case and rub both sides of the lenses carefully with four (4) drops of Boston SIMPLUS Multi-Action Solution in the palm of your hand for twenty (20) seconds. Rinse for approximately five (5) seconds with a steady stream of Boston SIMPLUS Multi-Action Solution to eliminate loosened surface deposits and insert lenses. Discard solution from the lens case and immediately and thoroughly clean interior of lens case with fresh, sterile disinfecting solution. Never use water. Cleaning should be followed by rinsing with fresh, sterile disinfecting solutions (never use water) and wiping the lens case with a fresh, clean tissue is recommended. Air-drying or recapping the lens case lids after use without any additional cleaning methods should be avoided. If air drying, be sure that no residual solution remains in the case before allowing it to air dry. Discard solution ninety (90) days after opening. Record date opened in space provided on bottle label. Note: When used daily, this solution will be depleted before ninety (90) days.
